I really like it. I have MS and it is great help in helping me take shoes and socks off.

I recently had a lumbar fusion. I was instructed not to bend, twist or lift more than 5 lbs. Have you ever tried to put on a pair of pants without bending or twisting? I worked with an occupational therapist who heartily recommended I purchase a dressing stick to give me the independence of dressing myself, without hurting my back.
This is a great, sturdy and thoughtfully designed tool that I heartily recommend.

I bought two of these and they both ended up splitting within just a few weeks of purchase.
I have two older ones from more than 10 years ago that still work. They do not have a screw in the middle to hold both ends together. The screw is has cracked the wood and made it virtually useless.
My old one that I got when I had my hip replaced back in 1996 is still functioning. I just can’t find the manufacturer of it. I definitely do not recommend this dressing stick!

My only concern is the wood is not sealed and may be possible to get a sliver. Other than that works well!

Pas bon pour enfiler un chandail ou une chemise

As I’ve gotten older I can’t easily reach everywhere easily to dress. This is my little helping hand. I think it helps with grabbing a sock, pushing the straps up out on my bras so they untwist, grabs the shoulder of my sweater and helps straighten out my pant leg to fit my leg in. I never expected to need help dressing, but I do. I like the wood, old fashioned feel to it, and it would be handy to pack in a suitcase if I traveled since it folds in half. If something aids me in speeding up a bit I appreciate its usefulness. Good product

I liked the fact that this one is the right size for dressing. My older one is much longer.
I also like that it is made of wood, not plastic, as are some others!
I actually used it the other day to hang up my coat (bad shoulder)! It was a little complicated, but it worked!

The stick broke. The ends can go onto any dowel. It’s worth it to use u til it breaks then get a solid dowel and put the ends on it.

Une fois pour enlever mes bas c’est tout

Ça aide pour soulever le vêtement pour le passer derrière le cou et les épaules mais c’est quand même difficile. Peut-être si le bâton était légèrement courbé ça irait mieux

So far so good. Easy to use. I have 2. I have one for traveling and my “home” one. I use it mainly for taking off socks, pants and pulling up undies.

I use this little gadget for everything. To reach items that are up too high and pull them down., To catch my automatic pool vacuum that frequently stops in the middle of the pool where I can’t reach it. I just use the little hook to grab the floating handle and pull it towards me so I can take it out of the pool. I use it for reaching all sorts of things I can’t reach by reaching up or down so happy I actually have two of them.

This works pretty good. I wish it wasn’t made of wood though, it got caught under my recliner and snapped in half. It broke easily. Too bad cuz I barely got to use it
