Bought this for my 99 year old mother and she was very pleased with it.but before I bought this one I bought the other kind and ended up buying four because other people loved them ,so they all got a five star.

This was a gift to my mother, after having a stroke & loosing sight in one eye. This product gave her the magnification she needed to enable her to read easily with one eye. She is extremely happy with this product, can now read the newspapers & books easily.

You can see the full width of The page which is very nice. It’s clear and easy to read with it. the adjustable lighting is a great feature. It sits stable on your neck. I tried the different magnifications but did not much difference for me. May be valuable for you. Flipping pages will take some getting used to but I can read again!

This magnifier is going to save me so much stress in trying to read small print. The clarity of the screen, the colors of lighting, and being rechargeable were huge factors in my purchase. I received the wrong product in my original order. They made good and quickly sent the right product and I couldn’t be more happy. IMO well worth the money.

I had second thoughts after ordering this based on some reviews that were critical. I tried to cancel but order had already been dispatched. Delighted that I had to accept it. I bought it for my 92 year old mother who has vision problems that can not be rectified by her optician. She was absolutely over the moon as this enabled her to read again. Her recommendation was this : No amount of money would have pleased her as much as this has. She is also delighted by the fact that she can read most of a page without having to hover all over sentences & words. She can read with or without the light but for her , the lights do help. There are 3 different light levels which is also very helpful. I have become her most favourite person after giving her this.

At my age, eyes can’t see as well as they used to at 30 years. I’m 77 and I need all the help I can get. I am reading a book with a beautiful but small font now and I decided that my plain ol’ magnifying glass doesn’t cut it any more. And this MagniPros Anti-Glare LED Page Magnifier with 24 SMD LED lights is perfect to assist my reading experience. An LED SMD is a type of LED technology where the components are mounted directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards. If you understand that definition great. If you don’t don’t worry about it.
Basically, there are three lighting types or colors that one can choose from. I will attempt to explain this highly technical explanation of the lights and light colors for you. The first choice when you select the first option is a blend to the two different LED lights. The second color is similar to the yellow sunset which we all love. The third option is the very light blue color which is akin to a strike of lightning. As I stated for option #1, the first option is a blend of both lights’ colors.
PROS: VERY LIGHTWEIGHT; MADE OF HARD PLASTIC; THE LENS IS ALSO MADE OF PLASTIC. Both of these are the reason for it’s being lightweight; COMFORTABLE TO HOLD
FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME; BUILT-IN BATTERY IS RECHARGEABLE WITH INCLUDED MICRO-USB CHARGING CABLE; ONE-YEAR WARRANTY CAN BE EXTENDED TO
TWO YEARS BY REGISTERING ONLINE.
CONS: WHEN BATTERY STARTS TO RUN DOWN THE LIGHTS BEGIN TO DIM RATHER THAN CUTTING OFF COMPLETELY.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Works pretty well to magnify and light up my reading. I love that it is rechargeable. I hope that the light and the recharge mechanism continue to work for the long term but so far so good.

Lightweight but very clear. Magnifies well and the ability to change the lights is really nice. Another great feature is not having to replace batteries. A good product at a good price.

Biggest issue here is to get the USB version instead of the battery powered one. Unless unnecessary spending on batteries is a better choice than some reason that I’ve yet to come-up with.
With it’s large viewing area and light, getting good a view is easy. Room lighting and your position to the light are no longer a concern. Holding it for a long time becomes the challenge.
You can get a stand that rests on top of the reading material with the battery version, but not the USB version (go figure) and it’s not sold separately. There are ones with full-blown stands designed to put next to a chair, but that’s a not-so-portable approach. I got a better idea that’s more cost effective and portable.
A goose neck tube with clamps on each end is what works great. Photographers use these to hold things. I got the Foto4easy 50cm Photo Studio Lighting Light Stand for this. I attach it to a Table Mate when I’m in the bathroom, I mean library (see photo). With this setup I can easily move to a different location. This is very handy because people tend to knock and ask if you’re OK when in the library for more that 15 minutes. Talk about a win-win, this setup is it!

This is so easy to use! There are two different settings on the light, and one of them cuts out the blue light so it’s easier on the eyes. My arthritis makes my hands ache after a while, from holding it off the page. But the magnification is very nice and makes it easier to enjoy reading.

Superou as expectativas.

I should have ordered the stand. I can’t hold the screen still and my arm gets tired. Otherwise: clear screen, sturdy enough, easy to clean, lights help with my eye problems.
