Description
- Equidistant Magnification: The use of specially designed square fresnel lenses ensures that the text does not deform during magnification and that the edges of the field of view are as clear as the center.
- Lightweight: Using lightweight materials, it is only 70g (0.15 lbs) and is easy to hold.
- Durable: The lens is made of wear-resistant acrylic, while the frame is 0.2 inches above the mirror, so you can pick it up and put it down at any time.
- Large Visible Area: Extra-large style with a large field of view, breaking the inherent impression that traditional magnifiers do not have enough field of view.
- Multi-functional: Not only can you read books and newspapers, but also can be used as an auxiliary tool for engaging in precision manual operation.

I would recommend this magnifying glass. It’s as expected and as advertised.
I got this large magnifying glass for my kitchen. I come across ingredients lists, supplement bottles, recipes and such that I can’t see without my reading glasses. Having this close by is better than dealing with glasses that may or may not need cleaning or could be in another room.
The “glass” part is larger than most regular sized magnifying glasses that I have seen. That’s extremely convenient. It’s also flat, so there’s no warping of text. You do need to be mindful of reflections. If there is a light source reflected in the wrong spot it can be harder to see through the magnifying glass. I would imagine that would happen with any magnifying glass, though. Otherwise, it works very well. It’s lightweight, so my hand doesn’t get fatigued when holding it. The handle is also comfortable to hold. Overall it seems to be well made and works as it should.

This is a very interesting shape to work with & get use to. Also the size really.
All in all It grew on me very quickly. It’s not as heavy as I was envisioning it to be. Rather light. Yes, it does feel alittle awkward at first, but I was able to see more words together on a page so as to read faster. I don’t see any negatives so I’ll pass it on to my mother, who has poor vision but loves to read. I think large print & large magnifier should go together to make life a bit easier. It is what it claims: ‘text does not deform during magnification and the edges of the field of view are as clear as the center’. It’s worth the dollars to increase the quality of life for you or a loved one that’s struggling with low vision issues I think. But you decide!

Theo only thing missing is a nice case, it comes with a disposable one but I would have liked to see a nice case with it, and a cleaner. Recommend the co include it in, and just charge more $ for it, would be a top seller. I’m glad however that they don’t put the light on here because I have not seen a company that does this, build a battery cover that doesn’t pop out and get lost. It just works.

This is my Amazon Vine review for the Full Page Magnifying Glass for Reading, 3X Large Square Handheld Fresnel Magnifying Glass for Reading, No Deformation of Text, Clear View Edges for Seniors, Low Vision. Unfortunately this did not work so well for me although I believed it would work. It did not magnify words on a page that were large enough for me to view or were practically much (3X) larger than what was there without magnification in my view. I simply could not read with this magnifier. Perhaps this one is for those with much better quality vision. I included a video so you can see if it may work for you. Thanks, Amazon.

This magnifying Fresnel lens arrived today and I have already tried it out. It is lightweight due to the plastic lens construction. While I would prefer a glass lens, the light weight of this one makes it very easy to hold it for extended periods. That property is important to seniors. It also magnifies a large area of the page, which is possible because of using a Fresnel lens. Without a Fresnel lens the farther you are viewing from the center of the lens towards the edge the more degradation will be seen. That does NOT happen with this one. The lens is quite large, too. That property means you can actually read a decent amount of copy before having to move the magnifier to cover a new section. I would naturally worry about a plastic lens, but it is recessed into the frame (or the frame is made with enough depth) such that if you place this down on a desk or table top, the lens is held up and away from the resting surface, thus reducing the changes for any scratches. To compensate for my concern I placed the lens into the plastic bag it was in when I removed it from the retail packaging (box). I also laid it back into the blown plastic insert and slid that back into that original box. That way it is shielded from collecting dust and becoming scratched or dirty.
Two cautions:
1. When I first tried it it noticed some glare, but upon reading the guidance that came with it I realized I was looking though the wrong surface. With a Fresnel lens you are supposed to peer through the smooth side of the lens positioned towards your eyes. If you lightly touch the lens on both sides you can feel the difference. The Fresnel side exhibits parallel ridges and feels rough, but the other side to look through is perfectly smooth.
2. If you get smudges or dirt on the lens you can clean it with a very mild soap, like the foamy soap from a soap dispenser. You can also use a light solution of ordinary hand soap and water (be sure the soap contains NO abrasives!). Run water over the lens before you start to apply soap. After washing the lens with soap, rinse it thoroughly under running water and then dry with a clean towel. Do not use paper towels, facial tissues or toilet paper because these types of papers can actually scratch a plastic lens, but a clean cotton terrycloth towel will not scratch the lens.

Pros:
—This is lightweight and very easy to lift and hold.
—For having a plastic lens, there is minimal distortion. Text and images are easily readable but do have more fuzziness around the edges compared to a good glass lens.
—Compared to most magnifying glasses, this provides a very large reading area which is great.
Cons:
—Plastic rather than glass lens which causes some distortion but it is minimal. If this size of magnifying glass lens was made out of glass, it would be very heavy.
—Because the lens is plastic, it will scratch more easily than glass. So, in order to extend the clarity and usefulness of this magnifier, it needs to be stored more carefully (wrapped in a soft cloth, etc.).
Recommended.

This magnifying lens has some very good features. It covers a very large area, it is light weight and easy to hold, it is clear enough that you don’t see any distortion and you don’t get tired reading. It’s a very good product.
