I like the way this tool lights up the page and clearly displays the words that I find, at my age, hard to read. I like the fact that a whole page or paragraph is now visible to me without having to move my hand. In a way I wish it were glass, but then the weight would probably be tiring to my hand. All in all, this will make my reading a pleasure again.

This is very lightweight and easy to hold for longer periods of time without exhausting your arm. The magnifying area is wide enough to be able to read a standard width page (or iPad) without having to move the magnifier back and forth across the page. The LED lights, with their different settings, are bright, easy to use, and I’d say you could even read in bed without terribly distracting your partner. The adjustable handle is great, allowing you to fold it up when you don’t need it. For the price, I don’t think you could do much better.

I use it for intricate carvings on stone and wood. I also use it to read with.

This is a large, handheld magnifier. The light function is very helpful. However, its plastic so it scratches very easily. Use a duster not a cloth to clean it. Don’t dry wipe it with a cloth, spray surface with water then gently wipe It’s a good magnifier, just high maintenance.

I ordered this because glass has better optical quality than plastic. In fact, it is made of cheap plastic, and to make matters worse, the plastic has grooves in it that create a distracting glare.
This is the second magnifier I’ve ordered that turned out to be cheap, grooved plastic. This is also the second magnifier that I’m returning. I needed it because I really wanted to read a book I bought that has very small print. Oh, well, I guess I won’t be reading it. Too bad I’m past 30 days on the book, or it would go back too.

This is a great product, exactly as advertised. For my elderly mother, who loves it. Easy to hold (light) and very bright light and terrific 5x magnification. 3 small AAA batteries hidden in the handle. 3 types of light intensity.
My only critisicm (making it 4 stars instead of 5 stars) is the price. Many companies in China are making this great product and some other sides have it for 25% or 50% cheaper. So shop around for the best price, but the product itself is GREAT.

After a concussion, my mom needed something to help her eyesight. This is perfect for her. Nice and lightweight, and has a light on it, too. Small enough to tuck into a bag when she’ going out, if she wants to take it with her while she shops or out for dinner.

I love the enlargement and I was surprised at how light it is. The light is awesome! I had to take my glasses off to see clearly and close up, my eyes were hurting/straining. Not anymore! I can leave my glasses on, no eye hurting or straining. And the light-love it!!! The handle is a great idea also.
