This is a great magnifying glass to have around. It has a 5x magnification which is great for read small print. It’s light weight and compact with a foldable handle. I really like it has a build in light. The light is rechargeable with a Type-C charging port. The light has 10 ultra-bright LEDs with 3 adjustable brightness levels.

I really wish I had bought this magnifier earlier. It’s become such an essential tool for me, especially when I’m switching between reading printed documents and working on my computer. The LEDs are a game changer—I no longer have to strain my eyes in dim lighting, and the adjustable brightness is a thoughtful feature. I’m even considering getting a second one just to keep in my travel bag because it’s so convenient and lightweight. It’s a great tool for work and leisure, and I can’t imagine ever wearing regular presbyopes again after using this handheld magnifier. If you’re on the fence about buying it, don’t hesitate!

I really like that this magnifying glass has an actual glass lens, so I don’t worry about it scratching easily. I keep it in a drawer by my refrigerator to check expiration dates and I feel comfortable tossing it back in the drawer after each use. The three levels of light are very helpful, but be warned that the button for the light is extremely responsive. I tend to accidentally activate the light often when I handle the magnifier. The battery seems good because it has been holding its charge very well. I also appreciate that the handle is foldable. Please be aware that 4x magnification doesn’t make things huge. If you are doing very intricate work or dealing with very tiny things or extremely fine print, this may not be enough magnification. However, for my use, it’s perfect!

I like that this magnifying glass has a handle that extends at an angle, making it easier to hold and use. I especially like that it has LED lighting and is easily recharged via USB.
The only thing I don’t like about it is the button on the handle. It’s not really a button that you push but one that you barely touch to cycle through several light brightness and to turn the lights off. If I don’t pay attention, I accidentally brush my thumb on it and change the lighting. And last night, after using it, I turned it off and stored it in the little bag it came in. A short time later, I noticed light glowing from the bag. Apparently I accidentally brushed it putting the magnifying glass away.

This magnifying glass is a big improvement over one that I have been using for a few years that is of a similar size and shape. This one has a similar degree of magnification to my previous one, which I will guess is about 4X or 5X. With my old one I always relied on external lighting. Using an external light meant that it was hard to position what I wanted to view, and the light was always at either a low angle with shadows or was shining through the lens creating strange light patterns on the object. The light on this magnifying glass uses ten LED light sources; five spread across the top frame and five spread across the bottom frame. This provides light coming evenly from all directions. There are three levels of brightness from quite bright to extremely bright. You will not want more light, nor is that a criticism of the light. So far, I have found that the lowest level of brightness has been ideal for my situations.
The multi-position handle is another nicety. It allows me to find a comfortable holding position for whatever I am trying to look at.
The one little issue I have with this magnifying glass is that while charging, there is no visible indication that it is, in fact, charging. There is also no indication of when it is fully charged. In either case touching the light button will cause the blue lights to illuminate indicating the approximate level of charge. It would just be nice if those blue lights lit up in sequence indicating both that it is charging and the level of charge at that time. When fully charged, but still plugged in, it would be nice if all the blue lights lit up solid. The kind of charging indications many other devices have.

Tobegiga 4x Magnifying Glass for Reading is very clear. It is nice to have a rechargeable magnifier and not have to worry about batteries or having the added weight of them.
It charges up quickly and shows exactly how far charged up it is. It has three light settings, low, medium, and high. Or you can just have the light off. Even the low light gave plenty of light to read by.
The handle can be moved in lots of different directions, so it will work for what you need.
I was impressed that not only is there a soft drawstring bag to carry the magnifier, but there were also cloths included to wipe finger prints off the glass and to protect both sides of the magnifier for storage.

Works very well. Lots of light, however, the USB wire is only 12″ long. I have to use a power strip and place the item on the floor.
