This helps you help elderly get up, without having to pull their arms. This is much more comfortable for them.

I though this would help me assist my mil when she fell but it was difficult to use.
The good things is that this is made well and sturdy. Maybe o need to watch a video but thought that I would be able to prop her but had a hard time doing that.

Husband went through a rough patch with extreme weakness. He couldn’t sit up or walk. No strength. This was a godsend getting him upright. Your body takes the weight not your shoulders and arms. BYW. Doctors were no help in diagnosis. Needed to find our own solutions. Quit some meds and now he’s forgetting to grab the walker and 1000% stronger!!!

I have three severe tears in my right rotator cuff. When laying down someone must help pull me up. This saves them from hurting themselves as well as assuring I am not putting pressure on my right arm pulling me up with little to no pain!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. My partner had a stroke which affected his left side. Being weak on that side makes it difficult for him to get out of bed. Since I am his caregiver, when he needs assistance I just place it on his back and pull him up without too much strain on my back.
I use it every day. It also comes in handy just to make him feel supported when he has to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night or going up or down the stairs. It is wide enough to give the support he needs safely.

this was a great investment for helping my husband get in and out of bed , chairs and on and off the toilet. I am not that large of a lady so my arms and back were always hurting trying to lift him up keep him steady while getting him in and out of bed etc. this item was the easiest thing I have used and really helps me . and I have purchased a variety of gizmos and gadgets and nothing works like this one does. extremely fast shipping and the price was with in my budget Highly recommend this.!!!
