I purchased this for my 80 six-year-old mother who has Dementia. She works with it fairly often she enjoys it she may not recognize that it helps her in other ways but she uses it and it made her very happy. I recommend this for anyone who’s struggling with this illness it’s a challenge every day and anything that can help someone stay better as worth it.

Fidget devices are exceptional for people of all ages and we have found it great that so many are easily available in recent years. The listing does give you an idea of the size, but to be clear this is not ‘blanket’ sized. It is great to have on your lap, but is more of a large placemat size than a blanket. Size aside, this is a great setup with just about every sensory stimulation you can imagine included. If you are looking for a sensory, fidget device for anyone this is a nice and portable one to get.

Our child has been enjoying all of the textures, buckles, buttons, and zippers. This is a great distraction when we have appointments that can get lengthy. Calling this a blanket is a bit of a stretch since it barely covers your lap but overall, it is a very nice sensory/fidget mat.

We got this as a fun activity to keep little hands busy. I can see is using this at church, at soccer games, in the car – lots of options here. All the different things to do make it last as entertainment quite a while which is awesome.

  5. WOLead

Perfect for the car, rolls up and fits nicely in the door or to carry into a doctors office or store because its so lightweight. It’s got a nice variety of textures and fine motor activities which is good for the young and old. I have washed it and hung it to dry overnight with no issues. It’s a pleasant combination of sensory and fine motor – most “kid” options are one or the other so I really like this because of that.

My mother loves having this connected to her wheelchair. She is always fidgeting with it.

This fidget mat has quite a nice variety of sensory and tactile activities. There is a diverse assortment of colors and textures, too. This could be a nice option for people in many scenarios. Mostly, I think it would be helpful for fine motor skills improvement and development, whether that be for the elderly, people in physical therapy who are recovering, or even the young. I particularly find this to be a wonderful teaching tool for toddlers and younger kids. It helps them develop the skills needed to tie their shoes, zip up zippers, buckle belts, button shirts, tighten straps, etc. I know from experience that some preschools and kindergartens really prefer that some of these skills be learned before starting school, so this could be a useful product for parents and caregivers to practice with at home.

  8. G Family

Easy to fidget with and learn the functions of the buckles whether you grab this for a toddler, a kiddo with special needs or an elderly loved one. Great product great quality and would recommend.
