It’s easy to grip and works well on regular size cans. However, I have to use a non slip strip to hold short cans ie. less than 1 1/2 inches, because of arthritis I can’t get a grip on short cans. Also the short cans make me afraid I’ll cut my hand holding them but that was worse before getting this tool ( I’ve actually used pliers before). It’s so easy on the hands and works as shown as the handle is nice size and well finished. No more tab rings cutting into my fingers.

Purchased this for my 92-year old mother and it works perfectly to open cans with tabs. She cannot use her fingers to open so this is perfect. Even tried it myself and it worked great. A must for seniors or people with joint issues in their hands

I was very disappointed in this can tab opening hook. The end is too thick to get under a pull tab. I had to use something else to lift it up.

I bought a few of these for my wife as she has arthritis in both hands and has a hard time opening the pull top cans and it works great. I find myself using them now too as they are so easy to use.

This product works well for cat food cans. If the width was a little more narrow it would be perfect for dog food cans. I still have to use a butter knife to lift the pull tab.

Problems: Expensive for what you get. Rubber peeled off quickly. Technique shown requires a lot of effort.
Part of the rubber covering disintegrated within the first week. Didn’t seem to affect its function much, though. See Photo 1.
Better technique for easier opening-
a) Disregard their illustration.
b) Lift the pull ring and push it to the FULL VERTICAL position with your fingers or whatever. See Photo 2.
c) NOW engage the tool and rock it back to lift of the can lid. See Photo 3.
