I wrote this review right after we received the product, but life intervened and I’m just now posting it.
We’ve had a stationary bike for many years. It got too scary to get on because of the height of the seat, even at its lowest setting, so we decided to switch to a recumbent bike.
We just finished putting together the bike. We are ancient, so it took us a while, but neither of us broke down in tears or yelled in frustration, so a win. Some observations:
It’s a two-person job: One to hold and one to manipulate, plus one of them has to read the instructions. It’s nice if one person has small fingers. We switched between holding and manipulating, but only one of us read the instructions.
The instructions are extremely clear and straightforward. Go slowly and don’t skip around.
Some steps are not straightforward, but the instructions do a good job of explaining the task.
The nuts/bolts/tools presentation is fantastic. See photo. The only thing we had to add was a box cutter and a flashlight to look into the tubes to find wires that slipped down in shipping. The wires had twist ties to hold them together and out of the tubes, but some managed to escape.
Adjusting the seat position is easy—pull the knob on the bar under the seat and slide the seat.
Adjusting the resistance is easy—turn the knob on the column under the handlebars. The lowest setting is difficult for us, so we will work in short sessions at first.
The walk-through design makes getting on and off the bike easy, even for my husband who uses a walker. I thought the seat moved a little when I got off it, but my husband didn’t notice that at all.
We haven’t tried the tracking options yet, but they look straightforward.
We haven’t used the bike long-term, but we are happy so far.
Update
My husband has used the bike every day since we got it in January. He loves it. He says it is easy to get on and off and feels stable. The tension is easy to adjust and then stays put. “What more is there to say?”

This is the bike to get! Pedals extremely smooth & shifts effortlessly to different resistances. Very comfortable to sit on & I’ve been getting a great workout in around 20 minutes. I mainly got it to strengthen my lower back after an injury to a couple lower disks. PT had a recumbent bike there & that was probably the biggest part of my recovery. I did get a gym membership to go use one but it was too busy during normal hours & too much of a hassle during off hours. Buying this & getting it at Prime Day price has been a game changer!!!
I’m 6’2″ & 230 but I feel very comfortable on it with the seat all the way back. I did leave the pedal straps off when I put it together & I feel that was a good idea. I think my feet are too big & it is probably easier to start & stop without them. The bike measures around 52″ long & about 25″ wide at the side handles.
The screen displays trip time, distance, speed, calories burnt, odometer & pulse. The 2 silver triangles on each side handles read your pulse like some kind of magic! The screen also has a place to put your phone or tablet on but it does cover up the display. I might get a holder of some kind so I can still see the display while riding & watching a show.
Overall it was easy to put together, priced very well & comfortable to ride. I would give it 6 out of 5 stars!

This got started from my mother, now 89 years old was missing her bike rides. She’s been having some balance issues & had decided to avoid doing a face plant on the road, great judgement. Her doctor much to my surprise suggested that she get a contraption that would convert her bike to indoor stationary status. It didn’t take long looking at the various options available they were all likely disasters in the making. I was randomly stumbled onto this bike, it appeared to be low enough so my concerns of her falling over were minimal & I hoped it would be stable enough that it would be hard to tip over. I’ll add mom stills lives alone out in the country. The assembly instructions were straight forward & included pictures/diagrams for assembly, along with the necessary tools to put it together, which took a couple hours while watching football, could have been done in under an hour with more ambition. There’s plenty of adjustment in the settings for the seating position as she’s less than 5 ft tall. The monitor is fairly simple tracking, time, speed, distance, calories, pulse. It has the ability to adjust the resistance increasing the difficulty in pedaling. I gave it a test ride & was impressed with how stable it was as I actually tried to tip it over rocking side to side. Mom climbed on & with ease I adjusted the seat for her height & she was off to the races. She began doing a mile a day as I didn’t want her over doing it, that didn’t last as she decided she was going to do more. She hasn’t missed a day since then racking up the miles. I’ve since purchased another one for myself to work off all the Christmas cookies.
This isn’t some gym quality unit but definitely a great value for the money, I had low expectations that were exceeded, or I wouldn’t have bought another.

Overall this bike is pretty solid, went to get her easy, the pedal function of the bike feels really nice as well, the resistances are great ranging from easy to tough to pedal. My biggest complaint with the bike is the seat, the seat is slanted on a downward angle which makes me feel like I’m sliding out of it. On top of that it’s not straight either so I have to sit off centered to make my legs feel like they are working out evenly. It’s pretty quiet, I can’t hear it over the audio book I listen to. A few pieces came pretty scratched up but some spray paint covered it up and it looks brand new now.
