To begin: all hearing devices take some adjustment. All ‘transfer’ sound into the ear canal in different ways. These are no exception.
My ear openings are small and I found these too large for comfort. They are slightly larger than airpods. My husband, who has very large ears, did not have a problem wearing them.
These are sound amplifiers and the volume on each is increased by tapping. A little beep sounds , 1 beep, 2 beeps, 3 beeps, etc each you tap, to reduce or increase the volume. I found 1 to be sufficient, enough to slightly magnify the sound around me. And that includes the sound of my own voice. When I was talking, I could hear myself talking not only through my bones (reverberations as I spoke) but also coming back into my ears through these amplifiers. It was a little disconcerting. It would take some getting used to.
That said, these amplifiers would be helpful for someone watching TV, but they worked even better as I was watching videos on my laptop, about 3 feet away. That seems to be an ideal distance. They work very well to amplify sound coming from outside of oneself. Meaning, if the wearer is in a passive state of listening. To my ears the sound was a little tinny and as if coming through a telephone receiver, and there was a distinct ambient sound in the background. But for someone like my very hard-of-hearing father, he would probably not notice this, all he would know is that he can hear better.
Over the past few months I’ve tried different hearing amplifiers and these are not my favorite, but I think they are a good candidate for someone with larger ears who wants amplification of sound.

After charging and setting volume, I was quite surprised at the quality of the sound in these earbuds. The fit was snug and controls easy to manage. If you mistakenly touch while in your ear you will likely trigger the volume up feature, but I found that these didn’t go too loud to cycle through all volume steps. In my case I have one ear that has weakened hearing. If I set that ear 1 volume step above my other ear, I can hear central sounds again vs my good ear picking up the sound. They are a bit difficult to get out of the case but once you figure out is not a problem. I actually think their snug fit is good as they are less likely to slip out of case. The noise cancelling is such an undervalued feature. When my wife turns on the coffee grinder I usually cover my ears. While wearing these, I was aware that she was grinding but the noise was not overwhelming. My wife tried these and immediately said we need to get these for her father for when he watches TV.
Honest and Real –
I have gifted this device to my father who has some problems with hearing, there is hearing loss that happened to him long back and did try some medications nothing helped him that much and he prefered to stay the way he is.
No when I gifted him this piece of device, he truly likes it and enjoys it because it is truly compact, and looks pretty much stylish in the ears like airpods and does help him in hearing everything clear.
The most important thing about it is that charging is easy and at the same time operating as well there are no complicated modes or dynamics which makes it more complicated. Hence he is using it from a long time now and is very happy with its performance and its his experience that I am writing down here.
He also said that, cleaning is important so what he does is that at night when he takes it off, he rubs a cotton on its surface to keep it clean that way.

The good news is that these do magnify sound. The bad news is that it didn’t help me. More good news is that they look like some sort of off brand AirPod rather than hearing aids.
I’ve got a hearing loss most noticeable at high frequencies due to a lifetime of motorcycle riding with no ear plugs (until the last few years). While I get along well enough to not have a significant enough need for prescription hearing aids, I’d like to improve what I have.
These did increase the sound level at every frequency which isn’t what I was expecting. I’d hoped to have an phone app to tune them to just where I wished. No such luck. This is the first time I’ve missed a phone app.
Instead, everything grew louder with the noise often drowning out the signal I wished to hear. For example, my desktop computer is one of the new silent ones unless it kicks itself into a ‘turbo’ mode. However, with these in, I distinctly heard the otherwise silent fans. When the central air conditioner kicked on, I was drowned in white noise. Driving the truck with these in was a pure misery of magnified noise. They are easily adjustable for boost level but bringing it down enough to not be assailed by extraneous noise meant they were adjusted too low to do me any good.
In sum, close but not a solution for me anyway.

For a person like me that has hearing loss, these are a great addition to my hearing aid collection. Reasonable price for exceptional quality. One charge last up to 20 hours it says, although I’ve only used them for a few hours at a time. The case that it comes with will charge the hearing aids when you are away from electricity. The only thing I wish is that they weren’t black because you can tell that they are in your ear if somebody is near your body. I could definitely hear better when I’m wearing these. There is an outside noise cancellation function that seems to work a little bit. And no whistling like the hearing aids of the past. I have several pairs of hearing aids that I use for different functions. I like to keep a pair in the glove box of each of of my cars. That way I always have a pair of handy when I’m in a scenario where I need Amplified hearing.
