My hubby (83) has really enjoyed using this kit to help during his rehab following a broken hip. It didn’t have a leg-lifter, but we were able to borrow one from my sister. My hubby has made AMAZING use of the “dressing stick”! It’s always at his side! The grabber is MUCH better than the one I’d purchased at a medical supply place for my mom… this one actually holds on to what you grab. I even used it to pick up a small piece of popcorn, as a test. Passed with flying colors! The bath sponge is not that great (the handle is too flimsy to alliw you to actually scrub your back), but everything else is fantastic! I’d vote to replace the sponge with the leg lifter… my hubby uses the one we borrowed to help him get his bad leg into the car. I think it would be more useful to others, as well. At first, he needed it to pull his leg up to get back in bed from his wheelchair while in rehab, a useful tool not included in this kit.

Overall, great kit; very useful, and reasonably priced! We recommend… and wish you a speedy recovery. God bless!

Scam. Don’t buy this. It won’t help you and you will have to buy a different kit. The company won’t let you return it. The company also doesn’t care about the poor quality of their product.

OK, so its not expensive, but the sock assister is just a joke. a piece of plastic that you slide your sock over until the top of the sock fits into two recesses. then slide the sock the rest of the way up the unit. its so flimsy that with my smart wool socks! the opening where you’re supposed to put your toes into is now collapsed enough that its now battle that becomes extremely painful while you struggle with it. you get one long cotton ribbon slides through a couple of slots that let’s the ribbon just slide right through the device. After having g a total hip replacement a week ago, I think this thing is almost dangerous!
the grabber is actually pretty well built except for the fact that its about a foot too short for me (6`2“) to reach the ground. if you’re at all tall, you’ll wind up bending over with this thing. haven’t used the extended shoe horn or the back scrubber.
I’m going to try to track down the manufacturer and let them know of the horribly designed sock assist.

These items were great for my mom to use after surgery.
