I previously had all of my important papers tossed into a small fire safe. It was hard to quickly find what I needed. This document binder is the perfect solution!
It is durable and looks classy and professionally. It comes with plenty of folders that you can add your documents to. You can write your own titles or use the included stickers. It is a 3-ring binder so you can add additional papers and folders as needed.
It was very easy to organize all of my papers into the folders.
It is larger than I had expected, so it holds a lot. The only small downside is that I am now going to need to purchase a larger fire safe. To me, that is a small price to pay to have all of my documents organized and accessible.
If an emergency were to take place, this folder would be very easy to grab. I highly recommend it!

Having recently purchased a fire-proof box for important home management items, I knew this document organizer would be the perfect addition to that box. Right off the bat, the document organizer allows for larger size documents (up to 9.5×12”), and provides a handy envelope to secure your important documents, and avoid any loss of documents that might slip out from a more traditional file folder. Having the secure envelope is DEFINITELY the way to go. The document provides ample space for Mortgage, Insurance, Medical, Wills, Car Titles, Passports–however you wish to set up your home files. I appreciate that the envelopes are NOT pre-labeled, so I can set up the files in a manner that works best with our unique needs. The cover of the binder is very solid, and I like the added green band that keeps the organizer bundled tight when I place it into the fire-proof box. With so many wildfires and natural disasters occurring over the past several months, I feel comforted knowing our documents are up to date, and in one central location.

This organizer is better and more useful than I expected. Each file folder can be fully closed with a looping string, keeping your papers and any loose items securely. In addition, the binder comes with pre-sprinted labels for your folders; such as PERSONAL, FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, ETC.
Having a single place to go for finding all my important documents will be a time saver and helpful. It will also be advantageous during hurricane season when we have to evacuate. When we need to gather up all of our important documents, I can just pick up this organizer and know that I have everything important in hand, like our home insurance policy.
I filled 6 of the 8 folders and the binder just barely closed. The thin elastic helped keep the binder closed, but the elastic really needed to be thicker/wider to be strong enough to hold the binder when it is filled. The spine of the binder is 2” wide and after adding all my papers and documents the open end of the binder was over 3” wide.
There is also a large pocket in the back of the binder. You could use it for papers that have yet to be filed, or maybe oversize items that didn’t fit into the folders. I’m currently using it to hold my receipts for this tax year.
The fabric covering on this binder looks and feels nice. It’s better than just having a plastic binder you might find in an office supply store. The binder itself is sturdy and has metal pieces on the open ends of the binder to keep the edges from fraying.
I recommend this large binder for anyone looking to get better organized with their important documents.

This binder is so cute and works great for keeping my documents all together. The ties are pretty secure and the folders inside are decently heavy duty so I’m not concerned about anything falling out if I needed to travel with it.
There is a table of contents at the beginning of the binder to keep track of what’s what, but I kind of wish there were tabs as well, but that’s an easy addition I can make. The only downside was some of the metal from the folder in front rubbed off on the following folder, so it made a small mark that was easily covered by a sticker
Overall, this is really nice!

Despite my rating, I do like this document organizer.
There are eight envelopes where you can store various files and each envelope has a space on the front where you can place one of the included labels. Each envelope file has a fair amount of storage to house quite a few files. The ties on the back of each one easily wrap around the circled slots to hold everything in place.
I also like that there is an elastic band on the front that allows you to keep it securely closed.
Now, although it is helpful in organizing documents, unless you plan on storing it in a fireproof safe, I wouldn’t recommend putting important files inside. I opted to make copies of some of the documents I wanted to arrange together. While you can securely tie the envelope files, I’d rather keep my essential documents in a more protected environment.
The labels are nice and attach easily to each envelope file but getting them off the sheet was rather challenging. I had to use a vinyl weeding tool to get them off the paper.
The book itself looks nice but there are some aesthetic things, specifically the pocket in the back and the bump in the upper corner of the back page, that I didn’t personally care for. The bump is the area where the elastic binder is attached to the book.
Because the envelope files can get rather bulky, the pages can be a little hard to turn once it’s filled up. And, although I do like that this book includes a Table of Contents section up front, if you fill it out using a pen, you’re kinda stuck keeping everything where it is.
Again, I do like this organizer and will continue to use it. However, for me, it’s more useful for papers and files that aren’t as important as some of my other documents.
I gave this organizer binder a 3 star review but it really leans more toward 3 1/2 so keep that in mind.
