I got this because my mom has a bad back and bad knees, and frequently needs help getting out of the car. This works perfectly for helping her get out of the car while minimizing risk of injury to either of us. This device is strong, sturdy, and helpful to have in the car, house, or anywhere you, or a loved one, might need it
Chicken Nugget –
My Dad has had three strokes and is a fall risk. He also weighs over 300 pounds while my Mom and I weigh less than 150 pounds each. If my husband is not around to help us I’m not sure what we would do.
I was skeptical that this bar could actually pull the weight of a heavier person with a lighter person on the other end, but my husband and I tried it out and it works perfectly. My husband is 6 foot tall and weighs 250 pounds. He sat on the floor and I was able to easily help him up.
It felt extremely sturdy and was very easy to grip and pull. The simplicity is great.
