My Mom is very hard of hearing, but didn’t like her hearing aids. I’ve been able to get her to wear this system. The earpieces are very comfortable; she forgets she has them in. The sound quality is good – very helpful with her level of hearing loss. The system itself is easy to operate. Would buy again, but it seems so durable that I don’t think that will be necessary.

I am impressed with this hearing amplifier. It literally only needs 10 minutes of charging to get 6 hours of use but keep in mind, you get almost 24 hours of use with a full charge. You can adjust the volume on each side depending on your needs.
It gets pretty loud and the remote amplifier can be moved where you need it. The noise cancelling is ok but, could be better. Overall, a great versatile hearing amplifier packed full of features.

These are a lifesaver!!! My husband’s hearing loss had progressed to severe. He had ‘outgrown’ his hearing aids. We tried numerous OTC brands, and most seemed to amplify the background noise more than a conversation.
This little device is perfect! Normal speech is picked up easily and clearly with the amplifier worn, but when you turn on the remote, and place it near the tv, he says it’s the clearest he’s ever heard!
Now if you think you’re fine, and are getting along with no problem, then buy them and wear them for your spouse. Why? As a thank you for answering “Whaaat” about a zillion times.

It does work. However it picks up all noise throughout the area, not just where microphone is close too. So when amplifying the tv sound it will also pick up conversations and noise 20 feet or more away.

We are satisfied with how this hearing amplifier works and do not have any issues with it beyond thinking that the headphones feel a little cheap where they are functional but have room for improvement.

A hearing amplifier can be a great alternative to a more traditional hearing aid for some people. Traditional hearing aids are prone to feedback squeals and often have tiny batteries that are difficult to replace. I was able to use this device without ever hearing any squealing and it runs off a built-in rechargeable battery and is charged by a standard USB-C cable.
The main part consists of an amplifier with separate volume controls for the left and right side and has a built-in microphone. Plug in the headphones and turn it on, and you can wear this like an old fashioned MP3 player, but instead of playing music, it amplifies the sounds around you. You can also flip a switch on the bottom of the amplifier and have it amplify the audio from the remote microphone. The remote has a built-in microphone, or can be plugged into an audio source like a TV with the supplied cables. The remote could also be placed discretely and used to eavesdrop on conversations.
I think this is a great idea with multiple potential applications, but I can’t stand using it because the audio quality is so poor. Everything sounds high pitched and tinny. I would love to try it with different headphones, but the only audio output is a USB-C connector that only works with the supplied headphones. I’ve tried using other USB-C headphones and a USB-C audio adapter, but neither worked. I’ve also tried to connect the headphones to my laptop and cellphone, but they aren’t recognized as an audio device. As such, I can’t tell if the poor quality audio is the fault of the amplifier or the headphones, but given that there’s no way to use a different set of headphones, the point is moot.

I bought this for my very elderly mother, who has profound hearing loss. We’ve been through five different hearing aid brands and models, but none were very effective and we were told that it might be nothing can help. The right ear is completely dead, but when I put the left ear bud in and spoke into the mike, her eyes widened and she exclaimed, “I can hear you!” It was reminiscent of those videos of children’s reactions after receiving a cochlear implant. I had ordered other styles of amplifiers, too, but none really worked well enough. This amplifier, and this one alone, is nearly miraculous in its effect. Strongly recommended!
